48 Hour Print
With 48 Hour Print your cards will all be in landscape format and unlike competitors, those cards will all be card stock as well. Specialty cards aren’t available, but you can adjust traditional cards with rounded corners, matte and gloss finishing options, and UV spot finish. Mini cards are also an option.
As far as designing cards, 48 Hour Print makes it an easy process. In addition to the option of creating and uploading your card image, the design tool within the website is easy to use and comes with templates and images. Regardless of the option you choose, you can view proofs electronically before going ahead with a print job. The process is an easy one, only hindered by the lack of aforementioned printing options.
In light of the lack of printing options, prospective buyers will wonder what sets 48 Hour Print apart. While the lack of options may cause businesses pause, the quality of the prints themselves will not. 48 Hour Print delivered high quality cards in industry standard 300 dpi, as well as both magnetic and plastic cards.
We were impressed with the quality given the competitive price points. When purchasing only 500 cards the price was relatively average as compared to competing business card printing services, but as production quantity increased, competitor price points rose at a much steeper rate than 48 Hour Print. For 1000 premium full color cards 48 Hour Print is a reasonable 95 dollars, versus a market standard of well over 100 dollars all the way to $700.
Those competitive prices are for products alone as design support does cost an additional fee if needed. The idea with 48 Hour Print is to offer you an attractive rate and high quality printing. Adding all the frills touted by competitors would drive up that price and create another broad printing service to the mix.
As with competing printers, other options are at your disposal, from flyers and brochures to postcards and door hangers. Envelopes banners and calendars are available as well. And for an additional fee cards can even make their way to your business in 24 hours.
For your money, 48 Hour Print delivers on its message, bringing quality cards to your door in less than two days and for a very good price, particularly for those customers buying more cards than less. A lack of printing options and additional fees for some support services might cause some pause, but overall 48 Hour Print is a solid service and one that deserves a look as you choose where to get your cards printed.
